Introducing the MD Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group

The pinnacle of precision engineering and cutting-edge technology, meticulously crafted to elevate the performance of your M4 weapon system. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in every detail, ensuring unmatched reliability and durability in the most demanding conditions.

ArmorLube Coating:

Revolutionizing MILSPEC standards, the advanced DLC coating, ArmorLube, is the result of a decade-long collaboration with the US Army DEVCOM. Proven to drastically enhance reliability, prevent galling, corrosion, and seizure, this coating sets a new benchmark. In the taper abrasion test, ArmorLube outperformed with an exceptional 97,000 cycles, surpassing Nitride (25,000 cycles) and phosphate/Parkerizing (690 cycles).

Gas Key:

Precision torqued and staked, our gas key features optimized carrier key screws, virtually eliminating the risk of the key coming loose. A carefully applied sealant between the gas key and carrier ensures a gas-tight seal, addressing a common issue and preserving power and reliability.

Bolt:

Forged from solid bar 9310, our bolts undergo meticulous heat treatment for enhanced durability beyond Carpenter 158. Shot peened and precision ground to exact tolerances, the extractor, featuring an extractor O-ring, guarantees superior reliability.

Carrier:

The 8620 M16 carrier, precision ground to exacting tolerances, stands as a testament to our commitment to perfection. Skids ground to a flawlessly flat surface eliminate uneven wear, reducing friction and enhancing longevity.

Gas Rings:

Our SP4-coated gas rings redefine longevity. Lasting 3-4 times longer than standard rings, they significantly reduce friction, ensuring optimal performance even after extensive use.

Firing Pin:

Chrome-plated for additional durability, our firing pin ensures reliable ignition over an extended period, contributing to the overall longevity of the Bolt Carrier Group.

Rubber Gasket:

The inclusion of a rubber gasket for the extractor further exemplifies our dedication to reliability in every aspect of the extraction process.

Guaranteed to perform, the MD Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group is not just a component; it’s a precision-engineered solution that empowers your M4 weapon system with unparalleled reliability, durability, and performance. Elevate your firearm experience with the assurance that our product is designed to exceed expectations in any environment.

Vince H here from the Let’s Go Hunt Podcast on the Firearms Radio Network. I bought the Mitchell enhanced BCG when I first heard about it on WLS. So far I have used it at two Run N Gun shooting events: one in January and one this past weekend in July. At both events I was running with the rifle suppressed and have not been cleaning it. I noted right away the first time out that the Mitchell ran smoother than the phosphate coated carrier I had been using, so much so that I was getting gassed out pretty bad on the first stage and had to turn the gas down on my rifle! Mind you that the previous bcg was broken in with over 500 rounds through it. I had zero malfunctions that day in January even though it was spitting rain and 35 degrees out. Now this past weekend it was 98 with high humidity and a heat index well over 100. I had a single failure to go fully into battery when I ran it on Friday. I mortared the stuck round out and finished the stage. The next day while pulling RO duties I spent the day picking up rounds off the ground at my stage that had been tossed out from competitors having malfunctions. At the end of the day I loaded up a mag with the random ammo and ran it through my rifle without a single hiccup. #skittlesmagflex While I can’t effectively test the durability of the armorlube coating on my budget, I can say that the Mitchell Enhanced BCG has worked very well, has required no break in, and runs smoother than any other bcg I have used, all while being only nominally more expensive than most “budget” bcg’s. If you splurge on one thing for your AR, splurge on this.
