The EOTECH HWS EXPS3™ is an advanced holographic weapon sight engineered for top-tier performance in demanding environments. Designed primarily for tactical and professional applications, this sight enhances operational effectiveness by allowing true two-eyes-open shooting, which significantly speeds up target acquisition.
The EXPS3™ is compatible with Gen I through III+ night vision devices, making it versatile for both day and night operations. It features a 7mm raised base that facilitates a lower 1/3 iron sight co-witness, enhancing reliability and accuracy. The sight is robustly built, being water-resistant up to 33 feet (10 meters), and can operate in extreme temperatures ranging from -40°F to 140°F (-40°C to 60°C), ensuring reliability under various climatic conditions.
Mounting is straightforward on a 1″ Weaver or MIL-STD-1913 rail, and the sight offers precise windage and elevation adjustments at 0.5 MOA per click. Users can choose from 20 daylight brightness settings, with an additional 10 settings available for compatibility with night vision devices, ensuring optimal visibility in any light conditions.
The EXPS3™ is powered by a single CR123 battery, which provides up to 1,000 continuous hours of operation at a nominal setting of 12 at room temperature. This makes it not only efficient but also low-maintenance. It measures 3.8″ x 2.3″ x 2.9″ (96.5 x 58.4 x 73.7 mm) and weighs 11.2 ounces (317.5 grams), offering a compact and lightweight design that does not compromise the balance of the firearm.
